It’s a festive competition from us to you! We’ve filled Santa’s sack with five goodies from our collection. To win his sack all you have to do is have a guess at one product that might be in there! Enter by commenting with your guess on this blog post before Friday 16th December and on Friday we’ll choose a winner out of the correct guesses. You don’t have to get the design right just the type of product it might be.
The (not so) Small print… Only one guess per comment but you can make multiple comments. The decisions of judges at Poppy Treffry will be final. There will be no hard cash alternative or product swaps! Winner will be notified by ‘winning blog entry’ on the Friday and must contact us at hello@poppytreffry.co.uk to claim prize. You must have fun guessing!

I’m guessing a tea towel is in there somewhere – I bought 2 from your lovely St.Ives shop in the summer – but they were gifts, not for me! With the name Peabody I had to get the ‘Give Peas a Chance…’ one. Happy Christmas to you and all your team especially Faye who is the only one I’ve met.
Dec 10, 2011 @ 00:21:34
For sure you chose a lovely tea cosy to put in Santa’s sack!
Dec 11, 2011 @ 15:40:37
I would really really really like to find tucked away in a corner of Santa’s sack a freehand machine embroidery course – that would be so cool
What a great competition, thank you.
Dec 11, 2011 @ 15:46:46
I would also like to find in the sack a Christmas cosy. Thank you again for a great competition.

A TEA TOWEL! Santa might have used it to wipe his tipple glass, but I’m sure it would cope.xx
Dec 12, 2011 @ 11:45:41
I’d be delighted to find any of your lovely products in my stocking – in fact I’m hoping for a copy of your book (hint hint husband) so I can have a go at freehand embroidery myself – the lovely informal style is perfect for an amateur like me! Might even get round to making next year’s Christmas cards as I seem to have run out of time this year – again! I think there might be a mug in Santa’s sack, perfect for a nice cuppa after a mad day Christmas shopping
Dec 12, 2011 @ 11:47:00
It must be a tea / head cosy. Something festive and red that would double up as Santa’s hat.
Dec 12, 2011 @ 11:47:31
I’d reckon there would be some tea cosies in there to keep all the tea warm – I’m drinking loads to keep me toasty at the mo!

As I’ve just sent a Betty’s birthday cake to a friend for his birthday last week and he didn’t save any for me! I’m hoping there’s a Betty’s Fancies tea towel in Santa’s sack so that I can flourish it in front of him. Or better still, a Betty’s applique apron, or is that just being really mean? X
Dec 13, 2011 @ 18:42:19
…just realised you can only make one guess in your comment! I must have gotten carried away with revenge because he hadn’t saved me any cake! so lets hope there’s an applique apron in Santa’s sack. X
Dec 13, 2011 @ 19:49:18

Dec 14, 2011 @ 02:22:20
But most of all please let there be…
A cosy for my iPhone Little Timmy who is so cold and battered he doesn’t know the true meaning of Christmas
Dec 14, 2011 @ 08:55:53
As Santa’s sleigh it needed re-fuellin’
He flew down over a town they call Newlyn,
Poppy and her team, they rushed out the back,
And noticed he had a hole in his sack.
So they fixed it on an old Singer machine
And helped him to slip away, unseen.
They slipped some goodies in for good measure,
Happy to share their Christmassy pleasure!
In went a TEA TOWEL and some other things too,
Maybe they’ll find their way home to you….
Merry Christmas xxxx
Dec 14, 2011 @ 10:11:28
Near the End of the Land
Where the sea meets the sky
Lives a magical lady called Poppy Treffry!
With her wonderful team, they worked all year
To make purses and tea cosies, things to bring cheer.
One cold day they heard a terrible din
In a cobbled corner of old Newlyn.
Santa and his reindeer had broken down!
There were baubles and presents
All over the town.
Quick as a flash, they helped Santa clear up
But some presents were missing, and he’d broken a cup!
So the team gathered goodies to help put things right,
They filled up the sack with joy and delight.
Santa was so pleased he gave them a hug
And in return,Poppy gave him a new MUG!
Hohoho
Merry Christmas xxxx
