A whole day of joyful stitching!

So last week my lovely new workshop played host to it’s first freehand machine embroidery day courses.
the singer sewing machines gleamed, the biscuits were melt in the mouth yum and lunch at Trereife was gorgeous!
But most importantly in between, nattering, drinking tea, getting a teeny bit competitive and mucking about with piles of yummy fabrics everyone managed to make either a bag or a tea cosy to take home with them!
Here are some photos of the courses so far….

I do think you need to have a working holiday in the north – west Coast of Scotland – Argyll to be precise!
I do like the angle poise lamps they’re very ‘neat’.

I am holding you totally responsible for the fact that I currently have my machine down, running dogs at rest and foot removed… spent Saturday in my local yarn shop playing and having great fun using your book with the owner… so good I have blogged about it and she is about to post about her birdhouse cushion creation.

It was so liberating, just like when the stabilisers were taken off your bike and you realised that there was no longer a grown up holding onto the saddle. Thanks for introducing us to this!
